The Love List by Norm Foster
Directed by Bob Smith
The Love List is funny, sophisticated and sexy- with just enough edge to keep you nailed to
your seat. Two middle-aged guys try to create a list of attributes that will define the perfect
female. When hotshot writer Leon and his more sensitive nebbish pal Bill put down on paper
the things that turn their libidinous cranks, the luscious Justine appears. The world turns
upside down. What might be a simple sex farce approaches something more serious as
Foster looks at the way men look at women.

Heaven on Earth by Robert Schenkkan
Directed by Jason Caldwell
Bobby lives with his maternal grandmother, Martha, in Waylon, Texas, where not much goes
on and work is hard to come by. Martha has worked for thirty years in the local beauty shop,
and has raised Bobby since her daughter and son-in-law's death in a car accident, which
Bobby, as a young boy, survived. Even after he'd grown and moved away, Bobby returns to
Martha after financial failures in a drunken stupor. It is always a tough living arrangement
since Martha maintains an incredible optimism and total belief in God, and Bobby rejects
God and religion, is always pessimistic and remains angry over his parents' death. They
must come to an understanding that believing in themselves and each other will make their
lives full again.

The Lion in Winter by James Goldman
Directed by Adrianna Warner
James Goldman’s historical play takes place on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day of the
year 1183 and concerns the interpersonal dynamics and political wrangling of King Henry;
his wife Eleanor, whom he has kept imprisoned in a tower for the past ten years; and their
three sons, who are vying for the privilege of being named heir to the English throne. The
play is set in the castle of King Henry II of England, located in Chinon, in the English-ruled
region of France. Even though it was not particularly well received in its debut as a
Broadway play in 1966,
Goldman’s screenplay adaptation of The Lion in Winter, which was released in 1968, won
him an Academy Award.
